Subrata Ghosh

Mr. Subrata Ghosh completed his bachelor (in Industrial Chemistry) and master degree (in Inorganic Chemistry) from University of Culcutta. Following Master degree, he joined IIT Bombay for his M. Tech. program in Materials Science. During M. Tech. he extensively worked on development of Zirconia toughened alumina (ZTA) composites by solution process routes for structural applications. As a Ph. D. candidate in Energy Science and Engineering he aims to work towards developing new and innovative perovskite solar absorber materials for efficient and stable solar cell fabrication.

Mr. Snehangshu Mishra completed his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University. Following that, he completed M.Tech. in Energy Science and Technology from School of Energy Studies, Jadavpur University. During M.Tech., he worked on fabrication and characterization of ‘Zn’ doped ‘SnS’ thin films using Successive Ionic Layer Adsorption and Reaction (SILAR) method.

As a Ph.D. candidate in Energy Science and Engineering he aims to work towards developing flexible perovskite solar cell.

Ms. Binita Boro completed her B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering from Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar, Assam and M.Tech in Advanced Material Science and Technology from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, West Bengal. During her M. Tech she worked on " Enhancement of efficiency of Si solar cell using Siox/TiO2 heterostructure nanowires based on antireflective coating". She is pursuing Ph.D work on the understanding of various interfaces of  perovskite based solar cell and its impact on the device efficiency and stability.

Mr. Dinesh Kumar completed his bachelor (in Physics) from the University of Delhi and Master Degree (in Condensed Matter Physics) from Banaras Hindu University. Following Master degree, he joined IIT Madras for his Master in Technology (in Functional Material and Nanotechnology). He has worked on simulation study of crystalline-amorphous silicon-based tandem solar cells. He received Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF-2019) for his doctoral research. As a research scholar he aims to work towards developing high efficiency perovskite-based solar cells for multijunction, flexible and PV system applications.

Mr. Shivam Porwal completed his integrated M.Sc.Tech. in Materials Science and Engineering from Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar. Following that, he completed M.Tech in Materials Science and Technology from IIT BHU, during M.Tech he worked on A Novel approach to develop large area thin film of organic semiconductor for photovoltaic application. He received Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF-2019) for his doctoral research. As a PhD candidate in Energy Science and Engineering, he aim to work towards development of Thin film Solar cell.

Ms. Sakshi Kansal completed Integrated Master of Science from ISER Bhopal, MP. She received Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF-2019) for her doctoral research. As a PhD candidate in Energy Science and Engineering, her aim is to design an innovative and high performing electrode material which will enrich supercapacitor with improved energy density along with good rate capability and integrate it with the solar cell developing an efficient electrochemical device for prospective utilization in near future.

Ms. Surbhi Priya completed her bachelor (Nanotechnology) from Central University of Jharkhand and Master Degree (Solid State Physics) from IIT Kharagpur. During M.Tech she worked on Morphology Driven Tuning of SnO2 nanostructure for VOC sensing. As a Ph. D. candidate in Energy Science and Engineering she aims to design and integrate renewable energy system.
